We are committed to a method called “Expository teaching.” Exposi–WHAT? Put simply, this is a way of teaching in which we study a book of the Bible, verse by verse, asking God to challenge our limited belief system and change our thinking with His truth. There are many effective teaching methods and styles; however, one of the strengths of expository teaching is that it diminishes our tendency to pick topics based on our favorite themes and to likewise avoid the more difficult or controversial subjects. We recently completed a series on the Book of Hebrews and have just begun a powerful series on the Book of Acts.
